Libby K. Christianson, MA, LMHC, LCSW, LCAC

Picture Libby Christianson, MA, LMHC, LCSW, LCAC, has been in private practice since August, 1998. My primary office is Stress Recovery Center in South Bend.  I am a network provider for numerous insurance and EAP organizations. I have a trained Therapy Dog that I sometimes use for animal assisted therapy. My areas of specialty include children and teens, couples and families, depression and anxiety. I also was an elementary and junior high school counselor for 23 years.

I currently am an adjunct professor at Bethel College. Courses I teach often: Child Development, Life Span Development, Sociology and Social Psychology. Jim Therapy Dog I am a single mother of three grown sons, a daughter-in-law and one grand child. One of my sons is currently serving in the US Navy on a submarine. I enjoy playing piano and doing stained glass art.

My therapy modalities include CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
